26. San Antonio Spurs – Rashad Vaughn (SG – UNLV)
Manu Ginobili might retire and the Spurs will need some scoring off the bench.
Vaughn can score in a variety of ways which should only improve in a Spurs system. He’s not efficient yet but he won’t be required to make many plays in San Antonio. He can learn to take better shots and improve his decision making.
27. L.A. Lakers – Christian Wood (PF – UNLV)
The Lakers may need depth in their front court. He has great size and will eventually add the strength to play at center.
Wood is a versatile player who can really run the floor. He can also step outside and knock down shots. He’s still very young and probably won’t play much. He has a lot to learn but the physical tools are there.
28. Boston Celtics – Guillermo Hernangomez (C – International)
The Celtics have so many picks in this draft I don’t think they keep this one. If they do it will probably be for a player that they can stash.
29. Brooklyn Nets – Delon Wright (PG – Utah)
Deron Williams still has health concerns and still makes a lot of money. Brooklyn can at least bring in another point guard to get some reps just in case Deron gets injured again.
Wright is a point guard with a good size. He’s a crafty scorer who can also make plays on the defensive end.
With his size the Nets can throw out a three guard lineup. He needs to improve his shooting and add some weight so he can finish inside.
30. Golden State Warriors – Jarell Martin (PF – LSU)
Coming off a championship run the Warriors don’t need much help but they are planning on trading David Lee.
Martin’s shooting mechanics are inconsistent but I can see that getting fixed with the Warriors staff. If he improves his three point shooting he could see some time.
